Cherry Beach Sound, an internationally known music and video production facility in the port lands, recently launched the Cherry Beach School of Music.
The music school is located just steps away from the state-of-the-art, million-dollar recording and rehearsal studio at 33 Villiers Rd. near Cherry Street.
"Cherry Beach School of Music will attempt to contrast itself from the more traditional music schools by offering a unique approach to music education that combines an awareness of tradition with the acknowledgement of individuality," said marketing manager Trista Guerreri in a release.
With more than 25 years of experience in the international music industry, the team behind Cherry Beach School of Music is able to offer its students a chance to learn from musicians with years of relevant experience.
"Our music instructors are among the best musicians in the country. With their help, we want to inspire and enrich the creative spirit of our students in an artistic environment, while they're developing their skills as musicians," said Carman Guerrieri, Cherry Beach Sound's president and founder, in a release.
The Cherry Beach School of Music will offer one-on-one lessons specializing in voice, guitar, keyboard, bass and drums. There will also be group improvisational sessions in the recording studio for students who are progressing in the discipline.
During the sessions, students will work with other students and seasoned musicians to learn the basics of music arrangement while performing in a professional environment.
All students will be individually recorded as well.
The school also offers creative music workshops in digital music composition, lyric writing and music recording.
